The 18-inch Byzance Medium Thin Crash offers plenty of body and a rich sound and is somewhere between thin jazz cymbals and heavy rock cymbals. It cuts through the mix in a pleasant fashion, thanks to its loud attack, while it still has a relatively dark core tone with a wide frequency range and medium sustain. This crash cymbal, made following European tradition, is quite versatile, but will feel most at home in a jazz, fusion or pop setting.
